Tonight was a tough night, but I can finally sleep now.

I finally reported my ex's Pinterest accounts that they'd used to groom me while we were dating from early high school to college. The grooming started a couple years before they encouraged me to sign up for Pinterest, and lasted until the end of the relationship last year. They'd send me explicit pins that were screenshots of stuff that honestly shouldn't be on the website without moderation, like revealing outfits, extremely sexual tweets or links to BDSM products , they rarely talked to me directly on the platform.

I'm hoping that both accounts get taken down, and they don't figure out it was me that sent the report because they know where I live. I've had mental issues for years that cause paranoia, which I'm reaching out to a doctor about, but it gets tricky when some of that paranoia is based in past traumatic experiences. They've (physical abuse) hurt me in my own house before when they strangled me in 2019.

Anyways, I appreciate you all so much and will provide updates on the situation as they come. I love you all.

Update: I got a message back from support today saying that

1. The target of harassment needs to be clearly identifiable. this can include a full or partial name, initials, date of birth or photograph.
2. The target of the harassment (or a parent/guardian) needs to be the one to report it.
3. The target of the harassment must be a private individual or minor. We may limit the distribution of content for other targets, such as public individuals and businesses.

Although we don't support or encourage the behavior you've described, we aren't able to take the relevant accounts down as they currently are.

I was the target of harassment and made that clear in the email. My last resort is to upload pictures of both of us and our legal names to meet that first and second criteria. I don't think the third would apply, because even though we were both teenagers at the time I was 18 and they were 17, and we're both adults now. Our messages didn't have any nude pictures of each other , just the texts, so I don't have much to go on except for this.
 
I did end up sending pictures and legal info on the same day, and nothing’s happened since then. It’s safe to assume that they aren’t going to do anything about it. But at least I tried, and it’s over now.

Don't give up. It just might take some time for them to investigate, figure out what should be done, and get off their asses, do something.
