It is, some relief now. It is not everone here know that in another five or six weeks, a friend and myself were to speak in court against a man who abuse us both. My friend say he will do it, and that because of that, perhaps they do not need me to do that. But still, he was most worried of it, and I was scare some too, because in case they do ask me speak also.

But yesterday, my friend, he is been in contact with the solicitor there, to ask to get possible make it safer feeling for him to talk. And he find out yesterday, it is been arranged that he will be able to speak in court that is 'closed off' of other people. The journalists and other people that are not needed in the court, they will not be in there when he speaks. It will only be the officials and jury, and of course, this man. I think that is great relief to him, and is great relief to me if indeed I need to speak also.

Rik, I know you still are in court process with your perpetrator. Have you had to speak of it yet, official? Or anyone else here who do it? I know that it is not same country of us, and so some things they will be different. But perhaps we could hear of how much kindness normal is shown to the person speaking?

Anyway, it is something more positive.

I just want to say how great it is that you have the chance to speak up and say what your perps did. I know it takes a lot of courage, and Andrei, I can understand how uneasy this must make you feel. If you do have to speak Andrei, somehow I think you will be fine. You show a lot of character here, and that is what it will take.

In my case the question is purely academic since my perp died more than ten years ago, but much as I would like to I am not sure I would be able to do what you guys are doing now. You are speaking for all of us, and thanks so much for that.

I thank you. It is not something I am so much wishing to do. It is one of my 'perps'. One of them died several years ago. The other 2, nothing is been done of. One of them, two people put charges against him more then a year ago. It is been 'lost', it seems.

This man, it is not for the abuse of us he is in court, it is for worse thing then that. They just are wishing us also to speak to what kind character he is, as to hear what things he is done, they will give stronger sentence to him.

My friend here, who will know he is speaking, he say it, that it is opportunity of him to be able to speak what these boys do not have chance to. That is honor. Me, it is just fear.

I am happy for your friend. I know he has been worried about speaking and the press finding out his name. I send you and him my support.

Andrei - I am aware that when the case goes to court, I am allowed to use a video link if I want to. This means that I would be present in the building, but would not have to face either my abuser or anyone else that is in the actual court.

At present I want to go into that court room - I want to see the reaction on his face when I accuse him directly.

I want people in that courtroom to see my emotions (and even feel them).

I want to face him down.

Andrei - when you go to your courtroom shortly, I will be there with you in my mind (as I know you and many others will be for me when it is my turn).

My real name is Eric, not Rik (I have posted that only once before).

Eric means 'born to be king' (among other things) - it originates from the Norse Regions / Vikings. When my case is over, it will be 'Return of the King'. I promise you all that day.

It - the truth here, that will be no presence of journalists in court as I speak. There will be only lawyers, the judge, jury, and certainly, that man. There will be no spectators or authors or such. It makes it more likely better. I really asked, if it can be made by video, or even in private with only judge and lawyers, but it was not something coordinated on.

I thank you to give us of more understanding of that will happen soon. Thanks.

Hi all, yes the courts will protect you so that you do not have to face this evil person.

Try and just keep calm and breath deeply, take plenty of liquids and of course, make sure you have eaten before you go.

Hopefully it will all be over in a short time, as you are only testifying to keep him behind bars for his whole life, instead of just getting out, sometime in the future.
