all these years i have been suffering from post traumatic stress syndrome and was unaware of it.

it feels so good to finally have a diagnosis.

it feels so good to finally be working with it rather than suffering from it.

it feels so good to know that there is no cure and a "pill" will not make it go away. it is something i will live with and manage the rest of my life.

it feels great to know that i'm OKAY despite what i have felt and done as a result of it.

and thanks to my place of employment for being the catalyst.

Wanderer,

I can just feel the relief squeezing out between the words in your post. It sounds like you've been able to work through some stuff recently with the help of a mental health professional, and your attitude toward what you've learned is admirable. We should all be as fortunate.

Lots of love,

John

Isn't that the truth! It has always made such a difference to me to know what the problem is. I'm glad to see you are dealing with these issues so well. PTSD is a tough one.

Much love,
Larry
