relationships - rubber bands and satellites

i don't mean to be cold in saying this -
but relationships are seeming to be much like rubber bands - at least the image is in my mind -
sometimes they stretch closer and somtimes strained to stretched very much -
to the point of breaking too at times -
i can think of another image of relationships - where there are sometimes feelings or life experiences - or what have you - that prevent the connection - that really is healthful for both parties - whether it be ability to relate - and still maintain a life's focus for pragmatic day to day copings and managements - or dealings
it seems a sad thing to realize then the image of
not throwing the baby out with the bath water -
but perhaps as a matter of being a satellite if the planet or the moon is your moon or the planet next door -
the separation perhaps necessary to keep each life in tact -
not ending it - but realizing for healthful priorites sake - and viability where these
are - in the world -
so it goes it's weird and slightly grim - but understood - i think -
peace -
