Long ago, a short time before my abuse anyway, I remember talking to the school counsellor (her name was "Mrs Mogas") in her office - I think at some point she brought every kid in there at least once. This lady, by the way, was a "psychologist" type of counsellor, not the administrative secretaries they call "counsellors" in high school.
I remember her explaining to me that, while in her office, if I was angry I could do anything I wanted to express that anger - scream, bang on the table, "or even punch a hole in the wall", if I wanted to. At the time, I laughed - I thought it was way past silly and into the land of ridiculous that a kid could ever be angry enough to do things like that. Boy, did I ever find out. It's too bad that when I did, Mrs Mogas and her office were long gone. For a while, I really could've used them.

let it out, scream your anger and rage. Let it out here, shout at the moon if you want. Don't bottle that anger inside of you, it's horrible and poisonous.
