protection orders

I recently hired a lawyer to fight a protection order that my abusive ex wife got last week. Not only it is baseless but the judge didn't follow the law and dismiss it. I have lost my faith in our justice system. I hope that my lawyer get it dismiss and charges are filed against my ex wife.

Shaun, I hear ya. BTDT. But be very careful about the reporter, because they are on no one's side but their own. They just want a "killer story" that gets them ratings.

I hear ya. I have a victim advocate who has been very helpful. The reporter has been very helpful too. It happens a lot in the county I live in. They are more worried about federal dollars then the law
