My PM facility is not working at all for some reason, the icon has dissapeared from the top of the page.
I've tried everything. Four different browsers, logging out and in, and there's nothing in the control panel that I can find to reset it or read any of my messages.

So until I sort it out can you please use my web-mail, and if you've sent me a PM in the last couple of days and recieved no reply please resend it via my web-mail.

If anyone has any suggestions as to where the hell it's gone and how I can get it back PLEASE let me know.

Hi Dave, when you say Icon for PM facility, I don't remember seeing one myself. When I have a unread PM, a link shows up that says how many unread PM's I have. Also you should be able to get to the unread PM's by the My profile link. You said you have tried four browsers? If the other three browsers are based on IE, you may have a damaged cookie in the IE cookie folder. In IE try deleting your cookies. That is all I know, wish I could be of more help.
 
Just at the top left, under where it says "Hello Lloydy - log out" there used to be an envelope icon that flashed when I had new mail. That's gone.

Well it's there when I first log in if I have new mail, then as soon as I go out of the PM page the icon goes.
There's also nothing in "My Profile" either.

Usually things like this happen when I **** with something I shouldn't, but this time I'm completely innocent.

Dave I have found that if I do not log out properly when I return it does not let me know. Then I log out and relog in. Am I confusing you.
 
I can't get into my Private Messages at all now, and haven't been able to for about a week.

If you've sent me a PM and I haven't replied this is why.

Please resend any messages via this email address.

I've got them back, and I've emptied my overflowing mailbox. :D :D

It was nothing to do with my skills either, it was thanks to the guys at Infopop who have great patience with technopeasants such as me ! :rolleyes:
