My PM facility is not working at all for some reason, the icon has dissapeared from the top of the page.
I've tried everything. Four different browsers, logging out and in, and there's nothing in the control panel that I can find to reset it or read any of my messages.

So until I sort it out can you please use my web-mail, and if you've sent me a PM in the last couple of days and recieved no reply please resend it via my web-mail.

If anyone has any suggestions as to where the hell it's gone and how I can get it back PLEASE let me know.

Dave. The pm icon is only there when you have a message received.
When you want to send a pm you go to the directory and then go to the profile of that person and you can send a pm from there. Or you can send a pm from a post.

Am I making any sense?

I'm thinking that there are different versions of MS for different browsers, althought the 4 I've tried seem all the same.

I've always had an envelope icon top left, that flashed when new messages were there but remained there all the time. I could click it and read old messages if I needed to.

Directory? where's that?

I can't get into my Private Messages at all now, and haven't been able to for about a week.

If you've sent me a PM and I haven't replied this is why.

Sorry Lloydy, but I had to respond and say, something about the Board Administrator not being able to get into or fix his Private Messages gave me a chuckle! I know, I'm a brat, but I needed that!

Um, and by the way, they are working fine for me.

I've got them back, and I've emptied my overflowing mailbox. :D :D

It was nothing to do with my skills either, it was thanks to the guys at Infopop who have great patience with technopeasants such as me ! :rolleyes:
