I have been considering this for awhile, tonight I did it. I think that it a lot to do with the happenings with my son last week, I immediately began work on it and now it is done.

I have sent the following letter to the police department where perp #2 lives.

RE: PEDOPHILE LIVING IN CITYNAME

Dear Detectives,

I am an adult survivor of childhood sexual abuse. One of the perpetrators that sexually assaulted me resides within the city of CityName. He is Perp A. Trator and lives at 98765 AnotherStreet Drive. I do not know if I was his only victim or if there are more. Mr. Trator has a history of taking stray boys into his home. I am aware that you will not be able to investigate for prosecution of this pedophile for his sexual abuse against me, as the statute of limitations for these crimes have passed, but hopefully you will be able to keep an eye on him to protect other children.

My sexual abuse by Mr. Trator took place over a number of years, but part of one of the incidents should still be prosecutable. As a minor, age 15(Fall/Winter 1980), Mr. Trator took a nude Polaroid photograph of myself. I believe he still has that photograph in his possession. It should be found in the top dresser drawer in his bedroom. It was there when he showed it to me the last time I saw him, about four years ago. At that time he said he was going to destroy it, before he put it back. It may also have been scanned into his computer. His possession of this photograph should be considered possession of Child Pornography.

I am willing to provide any assistance you need or desire to get this pedophile off the streets or at least included in the registry of sexual predators, including, but not limited to, coming in to discuss this with you, signing a complaint, and providing testimony.

I don't know if this was the right thing to do, but I needed to do it. The others that he takes in need to be protected and now I have the strength do to something about it. A year ago I didn't have the strength to tell a single sole.

You're a hero in my estimation. I hope that sick bastard is prosecuted but if he isn't I hope that he's put on notice that the authorities are watching him.

You absolutly did the right thing, and if the police do not investigate the child porn based on what you provided find out why and do what needs to be done.

Yippee Fucking skippee. You mailed a letter to police about a 20-year old picture. I told the police about the man who raped me when it happened a year ago. I even showed them his neighborhood. They still refused to do anything. Fuck they police. There's not a whole lot they can or are willing to do with this.
