Hi guys,

Today i went shopping in Candem Town (Alterative/Rock area of London) I brought a pair of NewRock Boots which set me back 80! But they where worth it! And I got my LIP PIRCIED! (cost 30 wiv Aftercare and 2 follow ups to make sure not infected! -so worth it again)! Its still hurts a little. But Its nothing I cant handle! It looks good but I havent told me parents yet! I Think they may go crazzy, my dad dont even like me waring contact lensens!! so what he will say about a lip pircing i dont know! (he wasnt happy wiv the idea on wednesday when i told them i was thinking about getting it done! - Oh well!!)

Hi,
Cool about the piercing! Hope it doesn't get infected. Good luck with your Dad!

Hey Little E - Hope you don't catch too much heat for the piercings! I work for too many agencies that would be offended by my getting piercings (let alone my wife!!!!). If I could, I'd like to get my eye brow pierced and one ear pierced...but alas...it is only I wish. Enjoy your lip piercings!!

My daughter, now 24, went through a number of piercings, including her tongue. Despite our objections, she said, "It's my body" and she got a number of tattoos over the next 5 or 6 years.

Upshot... The piercings eventually closed up without leaving scars or permanent damage (she was offended that so many young teens were getting pierced that it was no longer cool.)

The tattoos will be covered by cadaver (dead body) makeup so they won't show when she gets married this October.

Moral of the story, holes close up. Tattoos last long after you want them gone. If your folks freak out, you can tell them this.

congrats on the piercing :) A few years ago I got my eyebrow pierced and my dad didn't like it. Eventually I got bored with it and took it out and it closed up but there is still a little scar there but you can't tell unless you look up close.
