just to let everyone here know.

moose has been having problems with his leg/hip over the past couple of weeks. his leg gave out on him and he went down. he is currently in the hospital and will be having hip replacement surgery this afternoon.

he would appreciate any, and all, prayers and positive thoughts sent his way.

Hello Obi, thanks for sharing this news about Peter's health issues.
My prays are with him.
I'm praying for our Moose to get over this battle as he did many times in his life...

Sending my thoughts and prayers your way, Moose.

I got a hold of an air force buddy of his that lives about 45 minutes away. I asked if he would check in on him at the hospital so that moose won't be alone. He said he would and will let me know how things are going.

Obi,

Please pass on my best wishes for a fast recovery and let Pete know that he is in my thoughts. Thanks!

got word that he made it through the surgery alright. No complications at the moment.

My prayers and thoughts are with my brother Moose aka Pete.

thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers.

talked with moose this morning and he sounds like he is doing alright.

from what i was told, he was trying to walk from his truck back into his place. didn't make it. his leg/hip gave out and he fell to the ground. apparently causing a fracture that the dr said would need to be fixed.

if everything goes well, he can get out in the next day or two and have physical therapy set up to help him get back to walking perfectly normal again.

I just discovered this, as I've been off the MSDB.

So sorry to hear about the fall Moose. This is why I will not remain here in New England. I fall each and every winter, and will not stay here for more of that.

I was hoping you'd come back to Boston to see the old place, but not this year! Maybe in the Spring when yer hip is healed and yer back to working the mosh-pit.

There are some new and good punk-rock clubs we can hit and smash the scene!

Feel better brother Moose, and remember - You are never alone!
