I guess several of you know me, Marty, a 52 year old survivor of clergy abuse. I am doing well now that I have been sober for almost two years and working my program. I get a lot of help and support, both personal and professional. I came across a very interesting web site that is generating a petition to demand that the Federal Government invoke the RICO statutes to investigate the Catholic Church and its handling of the clergy sex abuse crisis. The woman behind this, Pauline, is an ex-nun and psychotherapist who has treated MANY of the victims. She is appalled at what she hears and she knows more than she can believe. thank you for posting this. I have glanced at the site, and will read it more fully when I have more time to. Just a thought, you may wish to post this also in the 'world news' or other section, where the friends and family lady posters can also respond.
