OUR MISSION

The above is the Mission Statement for MaleSurvivor.
My fellow brothers we are bound inexorably to this statement because we are a part of it.
And that is why we must heal. Some of us are researchers, some are teachers, some orators and some advocates. But all of us have the same goal. To heal and carry the message.
To do this WE CAN NO LONGER BE SILENT. We dont have to bellow from every roof top but we should be honest about what our mission means to us. How appropriate for us to heal and be models for others to follow.
For one I cringe in pain for every bearer of SA who makes the Wrong choice that lets the bastards win. It is so sensless and not necessary. It happens here to us and leaves a big hole in the brotherhood.
What about those that have not found us and are alone with the EVIL. And take that wrong step. How can we prevent that?
It is easy. We heal and carry the message. We live the MISSION. We are the examples that MaleSurvivor does make a difference. We broadcast the truth. What is that expression "The Truth Shall Set You Free".
Now how do we live the MISSION? By what we are doing here with each other. THE BROTHERHOOD.
I am amazed at the depth of the Board Members. Everyone knows Fred Tolson our Web Master and Guardian in CHAT. Does everyone know that he won the FAY HONEY KNOPP AWARD. If you dont look it up and realize what kind of a man he is. Look at our Moderators Wuamei and Thad (both of whom had some fun in chat last night). Think what they are living "The MISSION" and healing at the same time. And KSinger who has just made a speech. Look at his background. Another who is living the MISSION.
And all the other Board Members. They all live the MISSION.
So my brother wolves it is just not good enough for us to try to heal and leave. We must heal for MaleSurvivor to show that world what SA is all about and to be advocates of strength and courage to those wounded men out there who do not know about us and feel branded by society. How can we fail them.
I dont know about the rest of the pack but I stumbled upon MaleSurvivor and thank god I did. How many have not and likely will not. IT is too important to us to leave it to chance. We must speak out in our communities (whatever you define that as) to let our suffering brothers know there is a place for them that will give them help, guidance,love, support and finally healing. Isnt that how we can live the MISSION.
Sorry about the rant. It is not intended to be. I just think that we should continually remind ourselves why we are healing. It is not just for ourselves but for those who love us, our friends, children, etc. But equally important is for those brothers who have yet to find us.
We are a pack and as such we have tremendous power that we do not tap into except in times of personal need. That is good because it helps us heal. But also to grow. but we also have to power to make a difference in the lives of many.
Once again the quote

Isnt that what the MISSION means.
