I don't know if anyone noticed the online brochure or not on the home page for Male Survivor, but it is there. You can download it and print it off right from your own computer, for just a low easy payment... (sorry got carried away there....LOL).

On the serious side, if you go to the home page, the graphic is there that says "You can help". Download it, print it.... have fun! (I'm not sure who gets the credit for making this brochure, but it looks pretty good to me).

The question I have is, if each one of us downloaded and printed one or two copies of the brochure who or where could we gives these to?

Any ideas of people, places you could give one to? Would be curious to hear them and hope you will consider giving one or two of them out. It would go a long way towards helping the Male Survivor Organization out and they definately need our help.

Spread the word.... multiply the efforts!

(Now getting off of the advertising soap box)

any recommended paper?

The printed ones I have are a decent thickness semigloss paper.

Bill,
I just used regular printer paper the other day but if you wanted to get fancy, some while brochure paper would work great. Of course it depends upon the type of printer you have as well. You could also get some heavier paper and print it that way as well but from the looks of it, white is probably the background they had in mind.

Some thoughts on where you may want to distribute them:

at your local gym

leave copies in your Doctors waiting rooms and/or hospitals

leave copies at the local library

in the vestibule (or on the leaflet rack)of your church

on any public bulletin board..post office, stores, resturants

COLLEGE CAMPUS bulletin boards

send copies to local rape/victim crisis centers

GIVE COPIES to your therapists, social workers

leave them on the bus or train or at major transportation centers

Make sure you send copies to your local law enforcement...sexual crime victims unit...they are usually very responsive and welcome this info.

These are just a few ideas. If you absolutely cannot print them off but would really be interested in spreading the word you can even request the color printed brochures from our Admin person, Trisha...just e-mail her.

To answer your question Don, who created this...credit goes to our Board of Director member Dr. Chuck Spence.

There sure is much info on these brochures and if people are just reading it and learning, then the brochure went to good use...we would certainly like to see others use it to join our cause.

Yes it should be on white paper...the brightest white paper you can find. We print them in a heavier stock, I want to say at least 20 lb paper stock and no more than 40 lbs or it is too hard to fold properly.

PLEASE...if you can, distribute them far and wide! YOU REALLY CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Thank you, Mark
