not sure what to think

not sure what to think
I have lost a lot, everything really.
I can't find a job. I am just tired guys.
It has been over a year and I am trying.

(sitting here with tears in my eyes)

all alone

Brother. I have never been where you are but I can feel your pain and anguish.

But you have not lost everything. You are alive and getting past the shit of abuse. You have friends here.

Sit down and write a list of the things you would like to do at a job. Write down three or four of them.
Then write down any and all qualifications that you have to do that job. I do not care how trivial it may seem to be to you.

These qualifications can be things like compatability with others. Willing to work as a team player or the opposite. But you have qualities and do not ever think that you do not.

Once you have done all this then group them with the jobs you would like to have.

Another thing. We have something called manpower up here which is a government agency that assists unemployed people to get a job. In addition they will actuall, in some cases, help defray the cost of employing a person.

Check all this out. And do not give up ok.

Hey, MJ, it's me, David. I can't wait to hear you play another number at the next conference. Ya, that was me who was clapping so loud.
The job thing can be a bummer. I'm rooting for you on that scale, too...pun intended.
You're a good man, and good men cannot be kept down. Good luck on the hunt, the job for you is right around the corner, OK?

David
