Newsletter -- "Men Speak Out"
I tried to enter Family and Friends in the Member Forums but wasn't allowed in. I don't know why. Anyway, I'll post this message here and hope it gets to the right people.
Congratulations to everyone who contributed to the Spring/Summer 2005 issue of Men Speak Out, especially Michael Iatesta, Michael Skinner, and Brent Turpin. Their articles about their abuse and recovery are outstanding. I read every word while thinking how difficult it must have been to write for the public about such personally painful events. The "President's Message" and book reviews are also excellent. Whoever did the layout and copy editing should give each other pats on the back. You did fine jobs. Thank you everyone who made this first class issue possible. I'm making copies to leave at a few essential places, such as the waiting room in the Emergency Dept. of the local hospital, my internist's waiting room, and the waiting room of the local mental health clinic.
I hope that those of you who are not members of MS get the chance to read this issue of Men Speak Out. I wonder if it could be posted somewhere on these boards?
