I saw my primary doctor yesterday. He did a proctal exam and he said I have an enlarged prostate. Dr. Nguyen ordered blood work for thyroid and prostate.
I'm very very depressed,especially because my chronic fatigue is affecting my sexual health. I didn't think that was a big deal at one time,but now I realize it really is.

Jacob, hey, hope U are alright, I had this before, enlarged prostate, and yeah it is a big worry.

Just hope you are feelin OK, fatigue maybe something to do with the worry.

I had anal fissure, which just made things worse, and hey it subsided, glad it did, because that was so worrying.

Hang in there Jacob. Really investigate the thyroid. Hypothyroid is often misdiagnosed as BP and causes extreme fatigue
 
Jacob - Prostate is one of those problems we men face as we get older!! Sorry it has visited at your door! My prayers and thoughts are with you. I try not to worry so much in the beginning until I know just exactly I need to worry about. I so easily fall into "What if this or what if that..." and it winds up driving me nuts!!! Hang in there!!

enlarged prostate is quite common really. the fatigue might be the thyroid. i recently had mine removed, and man i cannot get out of my own way right now. i have an enlarged prostate too, has been for a long time, but my bloodwork is fine. they just kind of watch it, and as long as you dont have other symptoms and it isnt growing, they wont worry about it much.
