Hi all my name is lee, im 33 and a male survivor. I heard about this site from mike church, who I had the pleasure of speaking to in person. Thanks Mike. :cool:

Lee glad you made it. You have just joined the greatest bunch of guys on earth. No judgement, condemnation or racism of any sort. Just compassion, caring, strong shoulders to lean on and a sense of brotherhood that is far to rare in this world.

Welcome. I am sad you need us, as it is sad that any of us know the pain and heart ache of sexual abuse. But, the brothers here have been a huge support. We are all here for you when you need it. Just do not be afraid to ask us for our help!

I am sorry you need this place, but I'm glad you're here. You have courage and you are taking back your life from the animals who hurt you.

You WILL get better, Joe. I know you will. It's hard at first, but the hard parts are worth it.

I always say this to the new brothers I "meet" here, and sometimes it's a little overwhelming, but many of us were tricked into this stuff by "love" that asked things it shouldn't have from us. Joe, my brother, I love you, and I want NOTHING in return!

P.S. You MET Mike?! WOW! I haven't been so fortunate. He is truly one of the good ones here and you couldn't have a better mentor.
 
Lee, and any others who might be wondering: by meeting Mike Church you know that a man go go through this hell on earth and come out on the other side as a healthy adult with loads to give to the community. Mike is a success story--we can all be success stories, but it takes time and a lot of energy.
