New comer to the group

Hey everyone,

I just joined this group yesterday and I would like to say that is it a ray of sunshine and brought also comfort as well into my life. 5 years ago I was raped by five guys one of them being a so called friend and co-worker. Ever since that time I have been having constant nightmares and on and off relationship with guys. I am a 22 y/o puerto rican and I live in Orlando and I wish I can leave the past behind me, but it seems like no matter what I do It will be there to haunt me day in and day out.
But I am glad that I found this group and hope that you guys will be able to help me go through what I am going through at the moment.

My name is rafael and my Spanish is not fluent. I am so sorry for what was done to you. I too am a survivor as are many who visit and post to this site. Keep coming back. It does help to communicate with other male survivors even in this limited way.

I suggest you look into getting help to heal the wounds from your ordeal. Professional therapy, support groups, reading materials (i.e. the book "Victims no Longer"), etc. Keep a smile on your face amigo. And, may our gods strengthen and bless us all. Sincerely,
