Need some help in understanding survivor's past!
Hi. As per my previous responses, I'm a new member here. I've been in a relationship with a survivor for almost a year.
As in any "getting to know you" phase of a relationship, naturally the topic of sexual history has come up. I've learned some things about his past that quite disturbs me.
I would like to carry on an email dialogue with someone who has significant experience with a survivor or a survivor himself who has come a long way who could provide me with some insight into my boyfriend's behaviour. I want to believe he is a good, trustworthy, and moral guy, but some things he's done make it difficult to believe that and to trust him.
Anyone who is interested please reply and we can exchange email addresses. I trust that everyone will respect my wish to keep this off of a public forum. Despite my need to understand him, I want to preserve my boyfriend's privacy and dignity as much as possible.
