has anyone seen the trailer for this movie? i started shaking as i watched it yesterday and broke down when it was over. i can't stop thinking about it today and i'm having crying spells.

No, I haven't, BUT I heard about the plot and I can understand why even the trailer would upset you so much. It deals with one man being abused and how it affected him and his friends.

Don't watch the trailer again if it disturbes you so much. You don't need that right now.

The trailers for this movie sent chills up my spine.
 
The best movie reviwer her in the UK has given this film a terrific revue, and also stressed that it treats the subject well and sympatheticaly.

Clint Eastwood was also interviewed by him on the TV programe, and he came across as one of the 'good guys' as well.

I think I'll make the effort to go and see this movie.

I saw "Mystic River" today. It is very powerful and very well done. The acting, plot and just about everything was terrific.

However, I urge caution for anyone who is a survivor who plans to see it. It is very dark and there will likely be lots of potential triggers.

If you are pretty confident you are in a good place and have sufficient support, consider seeing it. It is really good.
