My tears

My tears

They make the numbing feeling go away
I can feel for once
It's a sense of relief
Everything bundled up
My tears
Not laughing ones either
Tears of hopelessness
I remember when my tears would only be from joy
Not sadness
I'm weak I must admit
Something wants to tell me they're making me stronger
It's hard to believe that
An emotional mess
Wanting care
Protection
Love
The pain hurts
The truth hurts
The lies hurt
I live with all three
I'm left crumbled
Trying to piece the puzzle back together
My tears
Realizing
Minimalizing
What taken place so long ago
My tears remind me
The confusion I felt
The worry I felt
Back when I was younger
My tears that were never there so long ago.
