hi group! i just joined this discussion board and some of you have pointed out that my display name might scare potential helpful people away. my actual name is Lester. "yolester" is a childhood nickname that has stuck with me. i am a legitamate abuse survivor with serious issues. i would like to have the support of this group. should i change my profile??

Welcome to here. I will admit here in public, when first I saw you sign up with that nickname, I was one who PMed you and suggested the name may not be to suitable. At the time, I thought you were some joker. But being you are 'legit', I can understand the using of a nickname (as I do as well). It will not offend me, personally, and I am sorry if I startled you with the immediate PM!
