I just wanted to write a quick two cents before I run to see wife and girls.

The love for music I have is unbelievable. It has been a soother for me in many aspects to help in my life. I learned to play the Sax when I was young and played for about 6 years.

In all my computer years, as soon as I got a Commodore 64 I was getting midi's to play of common songs that I liked.

Today I still love music, for the instruments, the effort, the story, the feelings, the expression, and more. I never idolized any band or star in any fashion I can think of. I only admired watching singers of groups playing live getting to stand up and sing everything right out.

So for me its all music with meaning. In that the other day on CNN I saw an interesting piece on Carlos Santana. It is amazing in alot of way's how he has come back. He says its from his learning to compliment.

The other interesting point - he was abused by an adult male for two years who was one of his teachers. This is not private, as it was disclosed on CNN. He spoke really openly about trying to fight it and move beyond.

If someone finds it on CNN - or a replay - it might be worth seeing. Its really made me feel good. I mean its not often you would see someone that is a music icon talk about male sexual abuse on TV.

Just two pennies - mi amigo's tango bueno fina semana!

I think he talked about his abuse in a Rolling Stone interview as well. It was a while ago but it might be somewhere online.

He's so good though.

Thanks Don, I knew they were there somewhere.

And although I wish no suffering on anyone, it's still an inspiration when someone as famous as that discloses publicly.

It breaks down so many barriers, and it was the reaon I disclosed to my wife and sought help. I saw George Michael and a British politician, Ron Davies, disclose on separate TV interviews and I thought "Why not ?"

It is good to see he talk publicly about that. But, I was happy to have him mention how we get twisted inot thinking we were guilty.

The more I talk about my own abuse, the more people ask why I went back to Boy Scouts. I read that as putting blame on me. I willl have a famous person to quote now, about what twisted feeling that is---I hope they get the point! I am not the twisted one.
