Prince of Tides - my all time favorite for this type of movie. When I was first going to therapy I could not cry..at about what had happened to me. I was driving one day when I saw this movie advertised on the billboard at the local movie place and went in to see it just because B.S. was in it. I have always liked her. I had NO CLUE what this movie was about. When it got to the part where Nolte has one of his sessions with Barbra and he broke down...I started crying and didn't stop for a few days. I went to see this movie for five day in a row.....I have it now also. I love the music in it and have worn out the cd..which reminds me I need to get a new one.

Excellent Choice!! ( I also really like 28 Days)

I watched Good Will hunting, a good movie, could have gone more in depth of the subject. I can only suppose that somebody who has not been abused, could never see the depths of the plot, so I thought it was weak in expression.

Mystic River, is a very powerful film, but it falls down everywhere in the story, even though Dave is brilliant, and it did move me, I wish the storyline did not fall off track.

Antwone Fisher, was excellent, it shows how this guy can change people he meets, and follows the challenges of an abused child through life, from the innocent child, through to the man who continues to be chided through life, because he just wants to be his spiritual child self.

The poem made me cry, and I had to save it, yes, I will cry for the little boy, I have cried a million tears already, but I will always cry for him who needs.

A childhood so viciously taken away, innocence replaced by violence, by so-called spiritual people.

There is no scripture, that I have read that says we must beat a child, or abuse them, and then pretend we are followers of religious belief.

I recommend this movie, based on a true story,

it is hard to be there, but I cried for the little boy, and I will cry again,
