Can anyone tell me of any movies dealing directly with sexual abuse and survivor themes?

Here's one I've seen:
"A Kind of Hush" by Brian Stirner (British movie)
The story line is about a gang of male teenagers who have been abused by peadophiles and they seek revenge.
High trigger but a very powerful movie that leaves you with a lump in your throat.

There are not that many that deal with male sexual abuse. I can only think of one or two that really deal with the issue as a main plot element. And I have never seen one that deals with male adult survivors(not saying there aren't any, just I have not seen them). The majority of sexual abuse movies are the crap they put out on lifetime. Not done well at all, just crappy melodramatic trash for the most part in my opinion.

What is needed is a good honest movie about this. I think with both well adjusted and not so well adjusted survivors. I would like to see something like a version of "beyond the law" the Charlie sheen flick. That does have as a background the main character being abused by his uncle when he was a child.
 
Try "Sleepers" with Kevin Bacon. Good movie. I HATE Kevin Bacon's character in the flick. It is not easy to watch, but I think it is worth it.
