I just have to tell everyone how much this book has really helped me. I'm an adult male survivor, not a survivor of childhood sa. It amazes me how much everything makes sense to me. If you haven't picked up this book yet, I highley recommend it. This book has even helped me identify other things about myself that aren't even in the book.

Yesterday was the first time at work in over a year that I felt comfortable with myself. What I mean by that is that I didn't feel like a victim and I didn't feel like everyone was a potential perpertrator. Damn, I feel like I can finally relax around people. I had, for the most part no anxiety that took place.

If you haven't done so already go get the book.

Baby steps, baby steps brothers.

Take it easy.

You are so right. It is written compassionately. It validates and and encourages me. Reading Keith's Statement woke me up and made me feel good.

I am a survivor of CSA. And he tells me that not only am I OK, but that I don't have to meet every criteria.

It is the only book that I have read that makes me feel like it was written for me.

Thank you for pointing this out.

Marc

Hello Fusionoflove,

I am very glad the book has been positive to you, as it has also to many others here. I have not yet read it, but am considering to buy it myself. I am a survivor of child and adult sexual abuse. There is much here to help you, much support that can be given. I hope you find yourself welcome here.
