I enjoyed reading that
I could hear the song in my head
and the feelings I had when I first heard it
It joins the other Christmas songs I sang tonight

It is a prayer for world peace
It joins the other prayers I said tonight
by name for my brothers here
(as many names as I could bring to mind)
and for myself and my family

Peace, sweet peace to all of us - and to this suffering world.

I hope we all find the inner peace we are searching for over this Christmas and New Year period. And on the grander scale. I hope rather than the war being over, as stated in the song, that the war isn't started.
