Kill the man, kill the man!

Kill the man, kill the man, he's the suspect!

Tell his wife what you think he's done
Tell his friends what you think he's done
Tell his colleagues what you think he's done
Tell his boss what you think he's done

Kill the man, kill the man, he's the suspect!

Don't wait until the proof is found
Don't wait until the jury votes
Don't wait until the judge decides
Don't wait until the verdict of guilty

Kill the man, kill the man, he's the suspect!

You don't care if he's guilty or not
You don't care if your "truth" is a lie
You just want to raise the selling of your papers
You just want to raise your profits by his death

Kill the man, kill the man, he's the suspect!

Suspect by Mental Obsessions

What I like about the song "Suspect" is that it is the lament of one falsely accused, attacked, arrested, tried, judged, convicted, punished, etc, based on prejudice, personal bias, political correctness (yech! :p ) and popular opinion.

At the same time these outstanding lyrics also call to account those persons, and systems, who so falsely & unjustly treat their suspects in the name of "truth" and "justice."

"Suspect" speaks to me of wrongs done to others, particularly the injustices done to male survivors
especially by those persons & systems you would expect would protect & help them.

Including the injustices done to male survivors by supposed friends and supporters concerning their disclosing of their truths as male survivors to them.

Well, I guess that's the great thing about songs, and a lot of other things in life: everyone can have different perspectives & opinions on them, and none are necessarily right or wrong.

Certainly I do see your points about mob mentality
and the damage some people can do.

I also see the lament of the falsely accused & judged.
