Does anyone hear meditate? I've been giving it some thought and I think it might help when I'm feeling down and blue.

Considering what some of us are going through I think it might be a very productive endeavor. Not as a way to numb out, but to get in touch with and form a deeper connection with ourself.

Hi Fusion,

I've done some meditation, primarily buddhist meditation, and it can be an excellent way to cultivate a sense of peace and calm. Its also an excellent way to increase mental discipline, which can have other beneficial effects in itself.

One word of caution, meditation can also bring up feelings that had been supressed. If you remain unattached and analytical about them this too can help you.

What type of meditation are you interested in?
