Is there anyone in here who is single and does not masterbate? If so what is your age and do you have wet dreams?

I dont masterbate but I havent had a wet dream for ages. I am 32. My roomie doesnt either and he has like one every other day almost.

To each, his own, atleast as far as wet dreams go.

I am single and no longer masturbate. I was addicted for several years, in fact, besides oral sex it is the closet thing I hvae had to "intercourse". It was hell trying to quit. I started due to the s.a. (subconscienously), losing my father, and mainly drug use. I soon developed several complexes from these forces and it truly hindered sexual relationships, so I chose masurbation at the time. I have come to pretty good grips with my s.a. and have dealt with my masturbation issues. The only problem is is that several years of inward sexual focus has left my inwardly focused when I attempt sexual intercourse with another and I should be focused outward. When I masturbated I only focused on the release. Now I can only achieve full erection moments before I ejaculate. Pretty shitty, to be completly honest. It killed my sex drive with a partner for the longest time. It killed me.

In response to another thread about excessive masturbation and harmful effects...again, to each his own. Personally, my addictive personality disallowed me interest in outside sexual encounters. Some might feel this, some might not. If it works for you, and feel it has no harmful qualities keep with it. If not, good luck beating it.

Onward and upward.

Occassionally, maybe once every 2 months. It depends. I have trouble with becoming sexually capable sometimes, and stayed the night with a woman who understood. We didnt have sex, but I did have a wet dream. Gawd I was so embareassed.

Heya, Buddah:

I'm not single but I will chime in anyway... I was single once!

I tried, for religious reasons, not to masturbate when I was single. Usually I did OK at abstaining from it -- and wet dreams were certainly an outlet. Sometimes they are creepy, though, depending on the dream. (You know, anything involving Mrs. Howell from 'Gilligan's Island,' or whatever...). jk =)

I still occasionally have wet dreams even now that I am married to a beautiful girl. Dreams are dreams. I don't know what the absence of dreams would indicate, but it might be worth discussing with a counselor, if you have one. I find my counselor to be a huge help while I am dealing with the SA, in many regards. School, sex, whatever.

I think that you are in school, right Buddah? They should have a counseling center there, I would imagine, and hopefully you can find a professional who is a good match.

Hang in there, man.

I am single. I am 23 years old. Do not do the self-pleasure (have once only). And no, do not have the other. I am not sure why, if I am strange or something. But at least I answered you, even if I do not understand myself.

Leosha,
Just outta curiosity do you work out at all. I am thinking maybe me being so over weight might have somethind to do with it to.

I am 18, and used do that a lot, but not in good way. I have not done it onw for some weeks, and have not notice that anything bad happen from it. When I would do it, it was in bad way, which make me have more problem I think. I don't know this help, I hope so. Andrei

I am sorry to confuse. I mean that when I would do masterbate, it was in bad way, way that was not good for me, physical or mental. Since I am not been doing it, I have not had no problems. I am not sure of what you are asking, what that phrase mean. I am sorry. Andrei

Buddah,

Yes, I do exercise, regularly. I used to be an athlete, and still work as a sport coach. I do not know how much that affects the physical release or such, but just is to answer your question.
