lovin' a person

it's funny that now as i get to a different part of my life -

i look around -

and i realize that sex and easy sex -

were preventing me - from seeing that

a relationship i will have - or be blessed

will be with a person - i just really enjoy being with -

who's spirit just makes the home

makes my life a better place -

and the days shared with the best part

it's not sex -

it's that person

it is romance -

oh definitions ruin it all -

just a glorious sunny morning

lying in a four poster bed - rolling over -

and seeing the scruffy head of hair -

yeah the BO too - it's him

i like him.

as much as i'd like to linger -

it's between two folks -

so there you go -

not one vision of relationship

but two -

it's gonna be a challenge -

but i'll be happy to have that one.
