Lost

The pain has made my feelings run rampant

Spilling into every ounce of my flesh

My heart is beating with a pain in my chest

It reminds me that I'm alive

But my soul feels empty



I know I'm at home

But I can't see anything that I recognize

I'm walking, awake, in the daytime

But my eyes only see the night

I can't gain control



You're fine, you're okay

These words I hear often

But no one dares to hold my hand

No one's helping me find my way

I'm lost
