Something that helps me when I am feeling like that is to change my perspective and try to ride it out.

You are not losing the fight. You are having a bad spell. If you can accept this then you can also remember that what goes down must also come back up.

You can do it brother, you have not lost. If all else fails just keep repeating that powerful quotation you have as your signature!!!!

I KNOW what you're talking about. SOme days, I believe I can't make it. The thing that'll get you through is how good a man you really are. You've touched so many lives and you've already lived through much more than any person should endure and you held onto your soul when most others who survive would have thrown it away.

Yeh it can get overwhelming at times. That is when you have to take a deep breath and think really hard about how far you have come. Do not dwell on the slips, we are only human. And concentrate on just today.

And be gentle with yourself ;)
 
Hold on man, things will get better. Last weekend I was also at the end of my wits but as the week has gone on things have gotten abit better. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

Take some time for yourself, try to re focus your energy and if need be get some help. Don't let your abuser win. You can make it.

Leosha - can I be selfish and tell you that I want you to keep dealing with this and I want you to beat it! Do you know why? I've just read your response to my posting on touching etc & your response is so close to describing, understanding and empathising with what I hoped that I'd posted - you must win, because then I also win!
