Loosening the knots
Do you ever feel like your tense. You feel like you have your issues in check but you still feel that sense of discomfort. Your probably dealing with stress from everyday life. Maybe envisioning your tension as rope that is tied in tight knot and then envisioning yourself loosening that knot will help. Let go and relax!!!

Sure do. At times I seem to have a premonition not exactly of doom, but something I am fraid of facing. My thoughts race, and either I deal with the situation and find out it's not what I think it is. My choice of music can either add or subtract to what is going on in my head. I have a vivid imagination so anything is possible in my head. Most times it is unfoundeed fear. My T says I'm always waiting for the other shoe to drop. Guess I am a mental masochist. Guess I could start my own group: Mental Masochist Frogs In Recovery.

You know how it can get: clear water, then I don't want to see clear, so I roil the calm and stir up the mud. Mental masochism all the way. Then some do-gooder comes along to put oil on the waters to create calm.

I can relate to always expecting something bad to happen. It's OK to be aware but if we constantly live in fear of what is to come, then how can we learn to live? Its heard.

I have been perhaps to loose recently. I have taken a bit of 'mental vacation' of all this, and avoided any dealing of it. But sometime, even in this situation, I can feel the area under my skin starting to crawl a bit, and I feel as if, someone touch me, I will jump out of my skin. It is a special talent, I think, to be able to loose up that knot on command like. But I like your suggestion. I hope it works for you.
