Logan has passed away

Hey Jeff,

Please, please, please don't do this to yourself. You were a friend and counselor when he needed you. You aren't responsible for a person's decisions about life and death. It's only natural to want to do everything in your power to help him, and I would bet that if it we're possible to ask him, he would readily agree that you did more than enough.

Regardless of what religious faith one may have, one of my favorite phrases is "Having done all, I stand." Right now you should be standing tall. You did everything you could for him.

So sad to hear of Logan's passing...

And lap, I agree with what bluedogone says, you did everything you could! And good luck with the conversation with his mother. Hopefully it will help clear out things for you.

Take good care!

I really liked Logan. This is such tough news. What a blow.

Jeff I am realy sorry for your loss. Very devastating. Please take care of yourself.

I am so very sad. He was a really good guy.

RIP Logan, I've been trying to put some words together since I first read the original post, but somehow couldn't find any that were truly suitable. Farewell (((Logan))).

Logan definately had his problems but he was a good guy. I remember he was in my survivors group which was a good hour and 30 minutes away for me, I only traveled this far because it was a group of good guys that I knew from this site. One week the group was canceled and for whatever reason Logan wasn't answering his phone. I drove there even though it was a long ride because I didn't want him to feel like he had been forgotten. We had a nice lunch and talked a lot that day. He thanked me for driving all that way but I was happy to do it. He admitted to me that he was engaged in some really bad self destructive behavior which could have ultimately led to his death, so its sad that his abuse issues got the best of him.
