Locked & Loaded. Range: 72hrs...
I'm now at T-minus 72hrs from signing my official Police Statement legal document, and I'm feeling unexpectedly both excited & exhilarated at the prospect of finally, after three decades, striking back against the monster who did this to me.
It feels like the Police, and the victim support worker, and the T, and all of you guys on here who I've either met in chat or been reading amongst the forums, have all helped me to reach this stage of now having a torpedo locked & loaded and ready to fire off on Tuesday morning.
I have absolutely no idea what will happen after I press the firing-button and submit this document back to the Police on Tuesday; all I know is that my nightmares ceased shortly after I'd first reported back in late-April, and now today, and for the first time ever, I can feel that a new page is about to be written, starting with an upcoming Police knock on the monster's door...
