Call me again, I was working late and missed your call.

Dave

Thanks Dave. I just saw your post so I'll try tomorrow.

L.

Yeah, just keep trying Larry because I'm out a lot of this weekend playing in the mud - I've finally finished building the new 4x4!!!

Sat night should be good though.

Dave

Dave,

That's great news. This is the 4 X 4 I saw? Sounds like fun, but not nearly enough mud.

I'll try to catch you tomorrow.

Larry

Sigh, tsk tsk, what is this about off-site contact? (color me shocked! ;) )

Sorry, am doing some OCD replying and this one got in the way! :)

Leosha,

The devil made me do it. :p  Besides, Dave promised to show me whether a 4 x 4 really has 16 wheels and I'm still waiting.

Much counting,
Larry

Here it is in all it's glory, after 3 years of hard work. I built it from nothing but ideas and bit's and pieces.

I was hoping to go and compete with it tomorrow, but my trailer brakes have gone west!
Dave

Dave, daredevil ste wants a go, I always wanted to build stuff like go karts etc.
Off road mud sliding etc., I would love to do.

Is that you driving it? Yeah, I guess it is.
You look chuffed in your new charge.

I could put it through its paces on the right land,

ste

Dave,

VERY cool indeed! I remember that as a work in progress and I can just imagine you charging around in that. :)

Much love,
Larry

Dammit Dave,

You put the steering wheel on the wrong side!   How many times do I have to tell you backward old-worlders how things should be done? :D :D :D

Lots of consternation,

John

Nah, he put the wheel on the 'right' side, because this is peasant country and shropshire is beautiful.

The best fun I had was driving a bull dozer, when I was a kid, driving a JCB on the road is also fun when the accelerator is a piece of string.

The ultimate challenge is to drive a long wheel based land rover with the tracking so far out, you could only turn left, :) try it one day, and see how much fun and wasted time it takes you to do the simple runs in life.

You must have been an avid admirer of scrapyard challeng, or the robot challenge, I know I was,

ste
