Please, I need to know the answer to this one?
How do you keep your kid safe, without the system attacking you for being a survivor, without the system threatening you?
This is where I am, trying to protect my son and being attacked by the system for being a survivor.
Very bitter about this,

Keeping safe is the same as keeping vigilant I believe, as the saying goes "The price of freedom is eternal vigilance" so too is the price of safety vigilance. Just watch out for the signs and do what you think and know to be right, even if that is not popular.
Bill I am sorry you had a hard time with it, but you did the right thing, don't let anyone tell you differently.

My heart goes out to you over this. Protecting one's own child is so important that words cannot describe it.
I think what you can do is be the watchdog. The system is supposed to be in place to protect children. The children who "slip through the cracks" are not the ones who have someone watching how the system works with them.
Be tenacious. You have that in you. Maybe going through the hell that you did has prepared you to be a relentless protector who can push the system to be what it should.
And come here and vent. Don't let the crap build up inside. Tell your T, tell us, tell friends. Don't let it get to be too much.

I can't speak from experience here as I have no kids, but I know you guys are doing what everything that needs to be done.
Why do I know that ? because by healing yourselves you are becoming self aware, and aware of what goes on around you.

Dave dont give that I dont have kids routine. Every young guy you have helped here is one of your children and all the others you have helped. You know that biologically creating a child does not make you a father. It is all the work that comes after than.
