Whew.
Yes, Don powerful quote! Thank you.
Some thoughts for me it is about the essence of trusting in healing it is about the moment of the unfolding of our true selves each moment of recovery is the unfolding we are meant to become a blossom.
It describes the moment of release where the daily pain from tightly hanging on becomes greater than the fear of change a fear created by the lie that we are defective.
It describes the moment of yielding to the Truth: The pain I face from change is always less than the sum of the pain from daily denial.
And the bud lets go - allowing change to unfold becoming more of its intended result
QUESTION. Do I have faith that the next time this moment happens for me that the change will once again result in more unfolding?
In my heart, not often - I am still a small child there, holding tightly to its protected budness, afraid to grow up.
In my mind, more often I have a trust that each time I reach this moment of truth, I will become more of who I am meant to be.
Therein lies my trust in healing; yielding yet another truth:
Truth: I am meant to become a blossom - releasing my unique self, my color and fragrance in each moment of unfolding, taking my intended place in the garden of life.
