Adam,

If you have other options, to get away from the abuse 'history', perhaps you should take them. I know that I did not even start addressing these things until I was far, far away from the sources of the abuse. It sounds like you are still close enough to it, geographically, that you are influenced (or could be) by the abuse, the people involved, and people who know them. To me, it seems that keeps you in that 'abuse circle', and keeps it more a part of your life, if that makes any sense? You deserve better.

sorry about not replying to this post, I thot I had, but hey, you are the guy.
You have started to find out who you really are, underneath all the hurt.

I too, used to work with heights no prob, but not any more, my confidence went, and it was a big thing to not trust my mind at heights, but I guess you have to keep yourself safe.
