First let me start saying WOW and THANK YOU!!!

I'm new here, I'm 34 years old and I came to terms with the fact I was sexually abused roughly 8 years ago. I spent several years (about 3) after coming to terms with everything going to counseling and groups and whatnot, but since then nothing. HENCE the reason I'm here. I'm getting back on the road of recovery, which I feel is a life long road.

Hope I can meet likewise feel survivors.

Yeah! :) That was my reaction when I first came here. Please know that whatever you are facing, chances are that we have been there too, that we understand, and that we care about you.

I too am a 34 year old that came to terms a while ago with being a survivor, went to counseling and then dropped off my recovery path until recently.. I've been on here now for a couple of weeks reading through posts and I've even posted a couple of times. I've been able to really connect with some of the postings in here and I am sure that as you poke around you'll find there is a lot of good information and a bunch of sincere folks all with the same goal..
