There have been some recent questions, requests, and suggestions regarding accepting and processing memberships, membership renewals, donations, and retreat registrations originating outside the United States or from funding sources using currency other than the US Dollar.

I have talked with our financial institution, our payment processor, and our IT developer and EFFECTIVE IMMEADIATLY you should be able to process any payment using any visa or mastercard regardless of your country of residence or currency.

You should enter the US dollar amount on our web site and visa and or mastercard will automatically convert that amount as the amount you will be billed for.

If you are using our electronic funds transfer option from your bank account with currency other than the US dollar, you should still enter the US dollar amount on our web site and the processing company will convert that amount to your currency before the funds are transferred.

I hope to add a currency conversion component to our payment page shortly.

One that I use now is www.xe.com

As to the bookstore, we are going to wait a while until the program we are using is past the beta stage. We will be able to develop access to the UK, Germany, France, Canada, and Japan at that time. At present I would advise against ordering outside the US as you would have significant shipping charges and be subject to potential Duty taxes.

Keep the feedback coming....

thanks

Still no maestro payments?

Despite being sucessful now I was such a looser in the past no bank on earth will give me a visa.

Thats why you have to offer other payment methods. I know Im not alone in this.

Japanzen,

there is an option to mail payments by snail mail. That is what I choose, because I do not want my credit card information on line.
