Hey men. I just ran across this podcast by Dr. Joe Kort this afternoon - very interesting. I'd be interested in hearing your opinions.

Has anyone here worked with him?
Several months ago, I met with a new therapist. After listening to me, he very rightly summed up my "issues" as threefold:
1. Early childhood sexual trauma
2. Emotional, physical and verbal abuse by my father
3. deprivation from same-sex friendships
Don't know where that puts me, but understanding my "composition" has helped.
Unfortunately, not meeting with that therapist anymore because he said he "didn't feel I was committed to my therapy". It wasn't that I was not committed - I was in a brand new job and in the midst of grad school.
