Innermotion Workshop

Today I attended an innermotion workshop where you use art, music and movement to access and express healing. It isn't as hard as it sounds as there are many group exercises you do which do so much for healing. This is the 2nd one I have been too and it was much differant than the first one. Both with varying outcomes for me as well and that is probably due to where I am currently at in my life.
It is encouraging and strengthening to see the power, the resources, the creativity and the vulnerability that survivors have. It is so encouraging to me to be a part of that and not only witness it but offer these things myself.
One of the main points for me today other than just relaxation, calming and taking care of myself was one simple statement made by the facilitator. The statement was "trust the universe". That is the 2nd time I have heard that in one week's time.
This statement is so important to me right now because I have left my full time computer job to pursue massage 100%. I've got many things relating to massage and survivors that I want to work with and it was now or never in my mind. Too much to do, and this is where I am supposed to be. Of course that means a "reduced income" right now until I get clients lined up. And after everything that appeared last week, I can not complain at all. It was an awesome week! But I find myself having a hard time trusting the universe to meet my needs when I know I am doing what I feel the universe has called me to do. That sentance may sound weird, but it is so true for me and one of the reasons I went into massage.
So I am going to take the message of "trust the universe" and implant it in my mind so that I will remember this and I will let it become a part of me. For if I am to be in the place I am at and do the things which I feel are calling me, than I must trust the universe to provide all that I need and show me how to access these things.
Innermotion is a great organization and a wonderful resource for survivors. They are working on some more things that hopefully will appear sometime in the near future. . Thats great. Love the statement: "trust the universe". What a way to look at things. Dont give up on your massage business Don. You CAN do it. Here's something you might add to your mental list. "Sucess comes from cans.....faulor comes from can nots.".....Maybe keep a can where you can see it
