I will listen!

I will listen!

That is all it takes, the words "I will listen".
I talked to a psyche doc, who said go to this place and figure it out, but the place he is talking about says you have to pay for therapy.

I told this doc, listen to how I went through trauma as a kid, and he merely dismissed it.
No doc! The ball is in your court, and I am asking for support and to just be listened to.

Just forget about it and go away is what I felt in his insultation.
What sort of consultant would say, hey, just go here!

He is not prepared to diagnose me with the problems that have dogged me all my life.
He just says OK, to what I told him about how my life was traumatised.

I am going to have to go above him, because a psyche doc, should at least have listened and more than that 'believed me' when I cited this as my main problem in life.

He just treated it like, any little problem, he did not want to know, but I have to make him know,

Ste,

What you are going through is just so extraordinarily callous and unlike my experience with the NHS down here in Oxfordshire. You absolutely do need to make sure you are heard. I'm not sure how it would work, but isn't there a facility for complaints within the NHS? You certainly have good grounds for one!

Much love,
Larry
