I know that when I am faced with a great challenge that I fear I can't handle, I am tempted to escape from it by turning to some smaller more manageable task. It's just procrastination of course. But I fool myself into thinking, okay, I will deal with the big one tomorrow, then tomorrow, then tomorrow, etc.
