i need to tell a joke - to shake my blues out -

i just remembered someone repeating a line

that the Queen Mother said once later in the evening when she was having drinks -

fyi -
the Queen Mother surounded herself with gay men -

I was told - they were her friends
and also comprised a good deal of her staff.

right on!

anyways - it was told to me - that before her passing -

she was wanting a drink - and she went to where some of the staff were sitting -

and she said "would one of you old queens - get this old queen a gin and tonic?"

lol

i thought that was precious!
