I need help for an answered prayer

It is written that if two or more are in agreement our prayers will be answered. I have a request. I am praying and would like your prayers for our Father to call me home now. Please. I can't do this anymore. He has given me as much as I can handle, I have no more in me. I just want to go home. My brother is up there with Him and I just want to be with them. At least there, I will be happy and with Michael and God. At least there I will have peace and rest. At least there I will have love and comfort. There no one will hate me. There I can love without the hurt and pain. He has given me all I can take, it's time for Him to take me home now. It is what I want. There is nothing here for me. Yes, I have the Lord here, but if He takes me home He will be there closer to me. I don't want to stay here anymore. Please pray for me, that He will call me Home, I want to go home. I want to home.

Hi Batt,

Please dont give up.
Dont give into the pressure.
This too shall pass.

Im sending you a poem that someone had sent me.
I will pray that the Lord give you the strength to survive, to love and to forgive.

------------------------------------------

I asked God to take away my pain.
God said, No.
It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up.

I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.
God said, No.
His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary.

I asked God to grant me patience.
God said, No.
Patience is a by-product of tribulations; it isn't granted, it is learned.

I asked God to give me happiness.
God said, No.
I give you blessings. Happiness is up to you.

I asked God to spare me pain.
God said, No.
Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to me.

I asked God to make my spirit grow.
God said, No.
You must grow on your own, but I will prune you to make you fruitful.

I asked God for all things that I might enjoy life.
God said, No.
I will give you life, so that you may enjoy all things.

I ask God to help me LOVE others, as much as He loves me.
God said Yes.
I will give you love,
and forgiveness,
and the strength to survive,
because I love you.

Batt,

I understand and know the pain you are in. I wish I could sit down with you and be there for you. You will survive this as well, but the pain will not be easy. You have a wonderful gift from God in your daughter but that gift comes with a huge responsibility. She is hurting now too and needs both her parents. I know you do not want to hurt her but don't want to hurt any more yourself either. Know you have friends who understand and are pulling for this time to pass quickly for you. You are strong and will survive.

It is always so sad to hear the cry of anguish like you are making Batt. Clearly, you feel overwhelmed. A person does not need to be uncommonly astute to realise that you need some break from the pain, you need to be able to appreciate another day of life. Whatever kind of things bring you great joy and peace, these need to be priorities now.
If you have a doctor you might talk the pain over with him/her. If you have a therapist set up an emergency meeting. But most of all, do what you can to get your mind off the sad and onto the joy. One of the guys mentioned that you have a wife and daughter. I envy you that. Hopefully, their love and just their being brings joy to you. Look at that precious daughter and realize that you and your wife made that precious person. That has to bring a joy to your heart.
Hold on and reach out. We all know drastic pain. We are with you as best we can be.

I feel the same way sometimes Batt. Once I had a polyp that I was sure was cancer and I was so happy. But God wants us here for a reason. I was reading about apparitions of the Virgin Mary at Garabandal, Spain and Medjugorje, Bosnia and one girl said "take me with you" and her reply was that when we meet God, our hands should be full with the good deeds we have done in our lives. And that God needed her to help others. He probably has plans for you and me.

Hi Batt, I thought of some more stuff to say about suffering:

I used to be an athiest, and I felt like there wasn't a God, and if there was I was mad at him. I couldn't understand how he could let us suffer. But now I know he makes it all o.k. in the end. Life is kind of like a big test. The Apostles asked about suffering:

John 9:2-3
As he passed by, he saw a man blind from his birth. And his disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" Jesus answered, "It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be made manifest in him.

Luke 16:20-25
There was a rich man, who was clothed in purple and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously every day. And at his gate lay a poor man named Laz'arus, full of sores, who desired to be fed with what fell from the rich man's table; moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. ... now he is comforted

I think most of us have to play Lazarus sometimes in life, and most of us play the rich man at other times. By me and you playing Lazarus, we are giving the chance to the rich men of the world who dine sumptuously to throw us the scraps from their table, or even to seat us at the place of honor.

The hard part for me is not playing Lazarus but reaching out as the rich man when I get the chance. When other people play Lazarus to our rich man we are being tested. But the important thing in the end is that God makes it all better and comforts us in the end. I try to be patient. It is not the degree of suffering, but our attitude about suffering that counts.

I used to work at a beach and we had to go out and play the drowning victim sometimes so others could practice saving us. You and I have to be patient while the others prove themselves, and then it will be our turn.
