Heroes, the men who came before me
Showing the way, offering a map and a light
They gave of themselves for a variety of reasons
These men, giants among men, told me I could make it
Where I saw shame, they saw innocence
Where I saw filth, they saw bravery
Where I saw brokenness, they saw gold
